School of Performing and Visual Arts

I am the Executive Director of Plaza de la Raza and our School of Performing and Visual Arts where I have had the pleasure and privilege to work with so many talented teaching artists who understand the importance of learning art and culture in our community. This year our center celebrates 50 years as the longest running multidisciplinary Latinx cultural center in the US! To mark this occasion, we launch this special series of unique online classes to complement our regularly scheduled onsite program at Plaza's beautiful lake-side arts complex in Lincoln Park, Los Angeles. The best of our center and school is now available to you online where we will continue to experience dance, music, theater, and visual arts for all to enjoy!
