The cajon workshop was designed for adults and children of any age to get started playing and having fun with the cajon. You’ll learn about the history of the cajon and how it came to be as well the fundamentals of how to play . Once you've gotten a hang of the basics you’ll learn rhythms and beats that will have you making music with people in no time.
In the congas class this you’ll learn everything you need to get started playing the wonderful instrument that is the Conga. We’ll begin by taking you through the evolution of the instrument and how it came to be what it is today. From there you’ll learn the fundamentals such as correct posture and proper technique to hit the drum.After you've mastered the basics we’ll dive into learning incredible rhythms that have been used in some of your favorite music

I was born in El Paso, Texas into a musical family with traditions from church musicians, educators, and Big Band leaders. My ergonomic approach to playing, teaching, and design of the Cajon instrument has caught the attention of many of the music industry magazines around the globe.
