Maricela Sosa is an instructor at Plaza de la Raza’s School of Performing & Visual Arts teaching the Mexican style of paper cutting known as “Papel Picado.” Marisela has continued the tradition, developing her skills in a non-formal master/apprentice model, not unlike a majority of artisans.
